Content and focus of the seminar

The seminar focuses on forms of social exclusion, bullying/mobbing and conflicts between students. You will learn how social exclusion and bullying arise and function. On this basis, we will look at how you as a teacher can recognise, understand and influence such conflictual processes. The following content is planned:

  • Prevalences of social exclusion at school
  • Sociometry: measuring social integration
  • Causes and starting points for promoting social exclusion
  • Extreme forms of social exclusion: bullying and mobbing
  • Bullying: No Blame Approach
  • Bullying: FARSTA method
  • Bullying: Cyber bullying
  • Conflicts: phases and solutions
  • Conflicts: Confrontational pedagogy
  • Conflicts: Non-violent communication
